| The Silver Stream Lodge Is Located At the Hub of Snowmobile Country With Access to Targhee and Caribou National Forests. This area has over 335 miles of trails for Sledding. The Main Trails are groomed every other week. The area offers deep snow, beautiful scenery and some of the nations best off trail riding. The
only cold fresh water intermittent spring in North America which is
also the largest of only three known fluctuating springs in the world
is located in Star Valley near Afton. Just outside Alpine not far from
us is the Wyoming Elk Winter Refuge where around 1000 elk spend the
winter. World famous Star Valley cheese and the Pitts aerobatics aircraft
are produced in Thayne and Afton respectively. White water rafting and
